Loco Lindo- Red Tiki Tropical Wrap

Tiki season is in full swing and here's a dress from Loco Lindo that is a must have!  The Ruffle Wrap style is so pretty and this Red Tiki Tropical print is just gorgeous.  The ruffles are so delicate and flow really well.  You'll love the french rayon crepe material the dress is made of too.  It's very light and perfect for the hot summer!  This style has in inner and an outer tie to keep the wrap together.  It's such a cute flirty look!  It hits knee length.  I also loved the capped sleeves.

1950's Vivien of Holloway Halterneck Dress

This style dress should pretty much be a staple in any pinups wardrobe!  This 1950's Halterneck Dress from Vivien of Holloway is such a stunner!  The royal blue color with polka dots really stands out.  It's my favorite color and it's perfect!  Vivien of Holloway's high quality vintage reproduction is always top notch.  This dress features a fitted boned bodice to give you a great shape!  The circle skirt is extremely full with plenty of room for a big petticoat.  It falls below the knee. The Halterneck is comfortable too, with wide straps for a really well put together look. The material is a sateen. This dress can take you from Rockabilly fun to formal weddings!

Pretty 40's Tea Dress

The Pretty 40's Style Tea Dress from Pretty Retro is an absolute perfect dress for a Summer outing!  The Ditsy print reminds me of a beautiful sunny day!  There's something about it that just makes me happy when I'm wearing it.  The yellow and orange hues are beautiful together.  The 40's Tea Dress has a sweetheart neckline that flows in to a gathered bust detail with a cute tie.  I love the wide fitted waist, as it is very flattering!  It also has tie gathers on the shoulders to create a really pretty look.  The flutter sleeves are great too, they won't restrict your movement.  You'll love the full skirt on the Tea Dress as well!  You can find this in a range of sizes from UK 8-18.  There are a few prints to choose from in this style. It's a great look for dancing the night away or meeting friends at that fancy tea house.  Either way you will look and feel like a ray of sunshine!

Styling this outfit was a lot of fun because of the fun colors!  I have had this coral colored hat for a while and ever found the right look for it.  I was so happy to see that I could wear it with my Pretty 40s Tea Dress. I stuck with the orange and yellow theme and stacked bangles from Splendette, Bow and Crossbones and Lucky Lou Shoes.  My earrings are by Bow and Crossbones and are the Marbled Yellow Carved Hoops.  These gorgeous yellow shoes are from Banned Apparel. The Unforgettable Pumps are so comfortable!  They have a square heel, so they are very sturdy for walking and dancing.

Megan Milky Way- Karina Dresses

Karina Dresses has really knocked it out of the park, actually all the way to the Milky Way with this new Signature Print!  Say hello to the new addition!  The Milky Way Print is so pretty with a stunning blue background and little tan/ light brown stars.  I absolutely love it!  I am wearing the Megan Dress, which has so many features that I really like too.  It has a wide fitted waistband and full skirt that hits below the knee.  This Megan has 3/4 sleeves with fabulous pleated details on the shoulders. It also has the pleats along the back waistband as well, which adds a really neat detail.  It has a modest cross over v-neck line. The Megan is also available in other prints and a short sleeve version as well.  I can't wait to see the other new dresses coming out in this collection! 

The soft microfiber material that Karina Dresses are made from is wrinkle free and machine washable.  It's so great to be able to grab a dress out of your closet with no ironing or steaming before heading out!  It's the original "Easy Dress".

Dana Tropical Cherry - Voodoo Vixen

As we are approaching the last months of summer, it's never too late to late to rock out some gorgeous tiki style.  As a matter of fact it's always appropriate!  The Dana Tropical Cherry Print Dress from Voodoo Vixen is a perfect example of one you need!  This dress is has the perfect cut and style to make you that tiki goddess you deserve to be.  You'll notice the pretty colors and pineapples first and then all of the details.  It has a cute tie on the chest and a wide v neck. It's very flattering and not too revealing, flirty enough and appropriate to wear at any event or outing.  The Dana is sleeveless, but the straps fall just on the shoulders.  It has a fitted waist with a pleated skirt that is very full, it falls below the knee.  It has hidden pockets and you know we all love that! The material is very soft with some stretch to it, made of  95% Polyester, 5% Elastane.  I am a hundred percent a fan of this dress!  Ladies of all shapes will be able to enjoy it, as it is available in XS- 4XL. 

Voodoo Vixen really knows how to design some gorgeous clothing.  They have a whole line of  Summer clothing that is full of high quality, pretty and comfortable vintage reproduction items.  They are definitely one of my favorites to feature and I highly recommend them. You must heavily accessorize when you do a tiki look in my opinion!  Large hair flowers and chunky jewelry are always on my list!  For this dress I had the perfect flower that has green, orange and red lilies and orchids mixed with a silver pineapple in the center.  It's made by Shazam Pin Up Hair Flowers.  You can order custom pieces from Shazam or choose from the many styles in their inventory.  You will love their quality and beauty too! I also chose to stick with red, green and orange in my jewelry.  It is all from Bow and Crossbones.  Cam makes the most gorgeous pieces.  These items are Hazel and Imogen styles from the Fakelite range.  I can't get enough of their stuff!  I mean is there such a thing as too many accessories?  Last but definetly not least, shoes!  It's very important to complete your look with the perfect shoes.  Sometimes I like to contrast and sometimes I like to pull the same colors from my outfit.  This time I stuck with matching and chose green heels.  They are from Bettie Page Shoes, the Layla style, very comfortable and also gorgeous!  I love all of my Bettie Page Shoes, they are always easy on the feet and the eyes!

Tropical Heat- Lady V London

Lady V London is turning up the heat with the Tropical Heat Tea Dress!  This is a sizzling number you need to add to your summer wardrobe.  The print is vibrant palms and hibiscus on a dark background that's sure to make you a tiki goddess!  I love the high neckline and v-cut back on this style, it's a great twist on style.  The Tea Dress features a fitted waist, with a tie belt for a cute bow in the back.  The length is just above the knee and the skirt is very full.  You can really enjoy this dress for vacations, parties and any other special occasion where a little tropical feel is needed.  I'm actually always down for a tropical inspired look!  This style from Lady V is available in sizes 8-22.  The quality is exceptional as always!

Bright, colorful accessories were a must for this look,  I am thrilled with my new 40's inspired Luxulite Banana Garland necklace and earrings.  It's such a perfect summer set!  This is the pink set and it is also available in green.  The Luxulite designer Katy had one of her favorite icons, Carmen Miranda, in mind for this set!  Her items are handmade and all very unique.  You can find the collections on Etsy.

I wore a stack of Splendette bangles in assorted colors too! Of course a large hair flower from Shazam Pin Up Hair Flowers was necessary. I love this one with orchids and peppers for extra spice! My heels are from Bettie Page Shoes in the Aria style. The pink Lola Von Rose vintage inspired bag was the perfect choice to tie it all together.

Navy Forest Lyra- Lady Voluptuous

This summer stunner is from Lady Voluptuous and needs to be on your must have list!  I think this Lyra Dress may be one of my all time favorites to wear.  It's a dress and style that you feel great in and confident that you look great too! I love these feminine lose fitting capped sleeves.  The dress has a fitted bodice with a wide waistband that features a tie belt.  You'll get a great silhouette!  It has a very full skirt that falls below the knee.  The wrap style v-neck is a very pretty design as well!  It's a modest look that you can enjoy at any special occasion or just dress up and run some errands!  The print and colors are stunning together.  I love the bright navy blue background with contrasted yellow butterflies and colorful flowers! 

The Lyra Dress is available in sizes 16-32.  The material is a stretchy polyester, elastine blend.  There are several gorgeous prints in this style too!  I love them all actually!
