Festive Roses- Blue Velvet Vintage

This is such a glorious time of year!  There's still splashes of color on the leaves and Christmas decorations are starting to pop up.  It's time to start planning your outfits for the parties and outings coming up and I have a stunning dress to show you!  This is the Vintage Inspired Rose Print Full Skirt Dress in Black from Blue Velvet Vintage.  The roses in red and yellow on the black background is an amazing color combo! You can also get it with a navy background.  I have gotten so many compliments on this dress.  It has a plunging neckline, so you can brave the look or add a cami under like I did. The material is heavier weight for the colder weather making it the perfect choice for the holiday season. I love 3/4 sleeves too. I would also like to add, it has pockets! The bodice is fitted and the skirt is a very large circle making it very flattering.  There are no zippers to mess with, which is very nice!  I think you can really dress this up with heels and tights and long vintage style coat or even wear it with boots!  The dress is made in the USA with imported fabric.  It's a stunner, I recommend it for many reasons!

It was fun picking out accessories for this dress!  I love the red, green and yellow marbled fakelite bangles and earrings from Bow and Crossbones, so they were a perfect match for it! 

My hair flower is double rose from shazam vintage pin up hair flowers and it was the perfect match as well for the rose dress!  

I chose to contrast with yellow for the heels and bag.  They are both from Banned Apparel.

Magnolia Eva- Lady V London

Fall is finally in the air and what a perfect dress to reflect that feeling!  The new Magnolia Eva Dress from Lady V London is absolutely stunning!  This is the first Eva style dress that I have worn and I'm in love.  The fit and cut is perfect!  This dress features a v-cut  cross over bust with a wide waistband that is very flattering.  It has capped sleeves and a large full circle skirt that has plenty of room for a petticoat if you choose.  I did not wear one for this look.  The skirt will fall below the knee. I love this classic looking vintage style.  I have always loved magnolia tress and this new print with magnolia blooms is stunning!  I like the contrast with the black background too.  This is going to be a style that I look forward to wearing all season.  I will add a cardigan and tights when the weather gets colder.  I think this may be the dress I wear to Thanksgiving dinner!  It has some stretch by the way! It can be machine washed on delicate. The Eva is available in sizes UK 8-20, but don't wait they will sell quickly!

As with every Lady V London dress I have ever worn, the quality is exceptional.  You can really tell that they put a lot of focus on that.  They are consistent in sizing which is very important when ordering online.  It's very frustrating when a company varies so much and you have to ship back. Just go by the chart and you should be good! 

I'm wearing the Double Faux Tortiseshell Hoops from Bow and Crossbones.  They are a great match for so many colors and looks! My gloves are vintage.

I have also shown in a few shots the amazing Siberian Camel Faux Fur Cape from Frilly Chantilly. It's the perfect accessory and will keep you warm in the colder temps.  I love how elegant it is. Tulip Garden- Karina Dresses

I am so thrilled about the Margaret Dress in the Tulip Garden print from Karina Dresses!  It's a fabulous dress!  This is my first time wearing a Margaret style and I do believe it's a new favorite!  I love the length that this one gives.  It falls perfectly for me mid-calf.  It has a crossover v-neck and a very full skirt.  The sash is attached and it has a fitted waistband.  This style is available in short sleeves or 3/4 sleeves.  There are many prints available, but this new Tulip Garden is just gorgeous!  I love the contrast of the red and green on the black background.  You can also find it on other dress styles if you prefer a shorter length.  This dress is a great choice for your Fall wardrobe.  Throw on a cardigan and boots and have a dressy comfortable look for the office or a day out.  Throw on some heels and pearls with a long coat and have a dressy night on the town.  That's what I love about Karina Dresses, they are so versatile and always so comfortable.

Pinup Glam

Are you are looking to add glamour to your pinup wardrobe? I recommend the new line from Trashy Diva! It's the Ribbed Rayon Collection and it couldn't be any more beautiful!  I am wearing the Candice Gwen Lena Dress here. It's beaded detail around the bust is so gorgeous and the Ribbed Rayon is a very lush sturdy material. The bodice fits like a glove with lots of support and the full circle skirt is a flowy dream. The halter neck dress has a sweetheart neckline with a gathered bust. I really felt very well put together wearing this! I did have to size up for this one as it does not have any stretch, so measure accordingly. The 50's style dress is the perfect touch for a glamorous occasion.
