Megan- Black Tropical Palm- Karina Dresses

I recently had the pleasure of attending my first Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender!  It was an absolute blast the entire time!  My only complaint is how bad my feet hurt!  We walked so much and toured some hot spots in Las Vegas, watched countless bands and performances, fashion shows and looked at amazing cars. It was great! I got to put my perfect travel dress to the test too.  This is the Megan Dress in Black Tropical Palms.   I love the Megan style for many reasons.  The fitted waist and wide band is very flattering with the full skirt. It also is a great length.  I like how the sleeves fit and have a gathered detail that can be found on the shoulders as well. Of course it's also wrinkle free, which makes it the perfect travel choice! The tropical print with the black background is a gorgeous combo and you can accessorize with fun, bright colors.  I had so many compliments on this dress walking around town!

Tropical prints are always great, but it's finally the time of year where they feel like a staple to my wardrobe. This dress is the 50s Lotus Swing in Turquoise available at TopVintage and it's just stunning!  I always love a great tropical print and this one just takes the cake! I think the boat neck with the v cutout is a great touch. The cap sleeves fall just off the shoulders.  They stayed put and didn't feel like I need to keep pulling them up. The dress features a fitted bodice and a very full swing skirt with room for a petticoat. The material has a slight stretch and is very soft and comfortable. You'll find very helpful fitting and size guides on the TopVintage site to help you find the perfect size. There is a back zipper and the skirt falls below the knee. This one is a must have for your Summer dress collection!

Black and Red Retro- Dolly and Dotty

One of my favorite color combinations is black and red.  When I saw this Dolly and Dotty dress, I instantly loved it!  The Judith Chiffon Retro Pleated Dress is stunning!  The chiffon box pleats are such a great accent that really stand out. It's a very feminine look and you'll feel so put together wearing it! It features a fitted bodice with a high neckline. It is made from a soft cotton material with a slight stretch.  The zipper is in the back. The dress is also lined.  You'll be twirling the night away on the dance floor or out on the town!  This style is also available in pink and black or black and white polka dots.  They are equally as beautiful!

Let's also talk about these amazing heels from Lola Ramona.  These are the Angie in Love Heels! Wow, they are insane!  I love the quirky style.  The Angie in Love features bright red snakeskin embossed leather, on a peep toe sandal with a 4" heel.  The front foot plateau makes it very comfortable to wear too.  That is something very important with cute shoes!  If they hurt to wear, it takes the fun out of it.  I've always found that Lola Ramona heels are great!  Look how cute the bow on the back of the heel is!  This style is a must have for your Spring and Summer wardrobe!
