Red, White and Blue!

July is a special month for us here in the United States, especially the 4th of July! We celebrate that day in 1776 where we gained our freedom and adopted the Declaration of Independence. We are truly blessed to live in the greatest nation on earth!

As with most special occasions, it is always fun to have a great outfit to wear. I like to go with themes for holidays and seasons. For the 4th, only red, white and blue will do! I found this dress from Lindy Bop to be perfect for the occasion! This halter neck swing dress has all the features I love.  The Lori Ann Blue Stars Swing Dress has a fitted waist and huge full skirt. I adore all of the little stars and the red trim makes the perfect accents. The wide halter tie falls just right along the sides of the chest to be very flattering. It ties around the back of the neck. The dress has back zip and a little stretch to the material. The bodice is lined as well. You could wear a red or white petticoat with this dress to add extra fullness and create a really cute look.  I didn't wear a petticoat for this, but it would look great! You can find this dress in many sizes XXS-6XL. I also added the red belt to cinch my waist some. Belts are a fun way to accessorize!  You can usually find some great ones at thrift stores or even Ebay or Amazon.

Lindy Bop has always been a great vintage reproduction company!  You can count on them to always have beautiful styles and affordable pricing. You will be surprised at how many styles they offer and come out with weekly! There is also an amazing sale section and the offer cheap shipping in the U.S. Their dresses are available at stockist all over the world and can be found in some department stores now. I think you will be happy with the choices you have, so happy shopping and Happy 4th of July!
